Provide Input to the Charter Commission
There are several ways that citizens can provide input and suggestions for the Charter Commission to consider:
- Send a one-page written comment, which states which part of the Charter is being addressed
and what change is being proposed. Please use a separate page for each change proposed.
Your suggestions may be hand delivered to the City Clerk, Jackie Bernard in the City
Municipal Building or e-mailed to all Commissioners from the form below.
*Note: if the form does not display properly, check the information bar to enable javascript content.
- Attend the Charter Commission meeting on the second Friday of each month in the
training room at the City Municipal Building at 1 pm. You may submit your comments in writing
but prepare brief remarks to speak to your issues.
- Attend the Public Hearings held on the last Monday of most months. The focus on these meetings is to hear from the public. As you enter the meeting place, you will be asked to sign in so that the Commission knows who wishes to speak at the meeting.
